Well, I would never have known about something like this if it wasn't for Melanie Jones, my friend who now lives in Floriday. (I hate that she had to move) Anyway, I don't really know where to start. Most everyone knows all about me and my family or the most part anyway, so I'm going to start in the recent past. My baby girl, Karlea, turned one on May 19th. We had a princess party because she is a princess! She sounds so sweet when she talks or that's what I'm calling it anyway. She says dada ( all the time), bubba, doggy, mama (usually when she's upset). She's cutting some teeth and isn't her usual happy self. She is one of the sweetest babies I have ever known. Her brother is pretty much a sweet kid too. They love to kiss and hug, each other and everyone. I guess that's a good thing. I'll have to watch them when they get older. When went to the lake this weekend. My grandparents live on Smith Lake. Our friends have a boat and Karlea took her first boat ride. There wasn't enough room on the boat for all of us, so Brandon drove our jet ski. We swam, rode the innertube, skied. That was the first time for Karlea to be in the water. She didn't like the life jacket or the wind blowing into her face. I covered her up with a towel and she fell asleep. She liked the water pretty well. Connor jumped right in. No trying to coax him into the water anymore. He took swimming lessons earlier this year. He still wears a life jacket. The lessons were for life saving purposes only. Hopefully, if he were to get into trouble he would know what to do. I took the camera but unfortunately, I forgot to use it. Please post some comments. I can't wait to see what everyone says.
